The spirit of the Anti-Christ lives and operates through preachers who contradict Christs teachings on forgiveness, love, and freedom from needless guilt and heavy moral burdens. Christ came to - set the captives of sin and guilt free, - declare the favor of God, - lift the heavy burdens of guilt from peoples hearts, - take away fear (of punishment) - set people free from paralyzing and threatening religious fear and guilt - take away the sin of the world (John). Meanwhile, many preachers drag people back to the dark religious caves of guilt and rejection of self and others. These are the agents of the Anti-Christ; they contradict the spirit of Christs teachings. Do not look for the Anti-Christ in places and activities usually and traditionally associated with sin. (That is too passé; the enemy is much more subtle and clever to be too obvious.) Look for anti-Christs inside religious institutions ---wolves dressed as sheep --- to bruise, wound or devour their undiscerning hearers with needless guilt and fear.
