The staff at Sable Elementary School recently gave new meaning to the phrase rain or shine. Braving a downpour of rain and chilly temperatures, Sable teachers and administrative staff members took to the streets to visit students and families at their homes to drop off school supplies and welcome them to the 2014-15 school year. Staff made stops at several apartment complexes within the Sable boundary area and were greeted with lots of smiling faces and enthusiastic personalities. It was important for me to do this work in order for teachers to have fun and to continue to know why we come to school every day, Principal Jen Dichter said. At the end of the day, students need us to give them our best.
