Aaron vs Tere The first match of the night is between Aaron who has been a part of the Intercolors champion team against Tere. Aaron has the upperhand here in the match as he utilizes his power forehand to good use. Though his serve is unreliable as he got 10 double faults in the match while Tere have very high serve percentage and a nice net game. Though it isnt much to stay on the game as Aaron hits 23 winners to win the game. Aaron defeated Tere 8-4. Ner vs Gigi Captain comedy is back and he will be up against his friend Gigi who just suffered an injury early last tournament. This has been a fun game made from shouting, cursing and unorthodox shots. Gigi got the upperhand on serving percentage and her nice long backswing forehand help her through the match but Ner, though still having a bad service with 12 double faults, still scored 8 aces in the match with 13 winners from his undoubtedly weird shots playing all over the court. Well as you can see this has been really a fun game though. Ner defeated Gigi 8-2. Abet vs Franz Third match is between the veteran of MATC Abet against one of the new member Franz. Both players have similar gamestyle both utilizing their baseline games and long rallies. The game was tied until they came to 6-6. Abet tried to overcome his opponents by adding net plays to her game but Franz really duke it out with his long strokes to finish of the game. Franz defeated Abet 8-6. David vs Amy Another veteran vs new member match. Amy going up against the junior player David. Amy came in ready for this match giving it all using his flat forehand to overcome her opponent. But, the tides turned as the little David showed of his class with his own strong serves and vicious forehand. Though having 7 double faults in the match, but he also scored 7 aces in the match. David defeated Amy 8-5. Earl vs Yuko Saying about a long game? You should have watched Earl and Yuko take on each other on the first day of the tournament. Playing for 1 1/2 hour, Earl and Yuko both utilized their own strenghts, Earl playing defensive and rallying long enough until his opponent make an error while Yuko slug it out from her serve, to his ground strokes and smashes hitting them with all her might hitting 7 aces of her own. Yuko defeated Earl 8-6. Lito vs RichardL Thinking of a good way to learn tennis? Lito will tell you the story as his initiation rights on class A was up against Richard. Lito tried everything and used everything he could muster to give a good fight against Richard who had a flawless game. Everyshot he made was very simple yet powerful. Topspins and dropshot came in perfect as he easily advanced at 6-0 early in the game. But Lito will not go home without scoring as he tried and succeed to score 2 points before Richard finished the game. Richard defeated Lito 8-2. Pao vs EdwardC The last match for the day is between Edward and the last years singles champion Pao. Edward who had played well for today and even didnt make any double faults tried to overcome the champ with his strong serves and topspsin forehand, but the champ has still overpowered him as Pao used his technicalities and his lightning speed to run around the court and catch all those balls that his opponents hit. Pao defeated Edward 8-3.
