The start of a new year is a fresh beginning, to make new memories with family and friends, to try our best to fulfill our resolutions, and to look forward to what the new year has in store for us. As mothers, it almost seems like time is moving quicker than we can keep up with, and we wish we could just press pause on the beautiful moments in our lives. Our child’s first step, the first day of kindergarten, the first time the yellow school bus rolls aways, the first day of college. (I actually have a big lump in my throat now, as I’m writing.)
