The state passed a bill today to study ground water wells. This is a blatant robbery attempt. I own 10 acres of pasture which means I have 508,200 square feet of land. The annual rainfall avg for this area is 14 inches which converts to 4,065,600 gallons of water falling on my land. The water belongs to no one until it hits earth(my earth) and mostly soaks into the ground(some runs off). This total amount amounts to 11,133 gallons a day for me(my earth) to use. This in turn equals 463 gallons an hour, every hour for a year. Some days, I might use 200 gallons or so but probably average 100 a day for the year (36,500 for the entire year). This leaves well over 4 million gallons a year excess..... AND THE STATE WANTS TO CHARGE ME FOR MY WATER!!!!!!!! I WILL go to court on this one. I am already getting shafted on the state fire tax. NO MORE!!!
