The stink of the Garner case is rife with coverup and at the very least is a miscarriage of justice. How if you have a man on the ground and two officers are on him and one is putting the cuffs on him, how do you justify the need to have a man in a choke hold. There are many arrests of violent and non-violent people who have run from the cops and been caught and they are on the ground having the cuffs put on them as other officers are on him pinning him on the ground...they dont put a choke hold on them. Why, now is this found to be okay in regards to Mr. Garner. How do you justify? It is a violation of the mans civil rights, even in this situation. This was not a man who was swinging at an officer or brandishing a gun or a weapon of any kind. How does anyone in their mind find a way to think that is okay to do? Regardless of it being an accident or not, this officer should lose his job, and be subject to a charge of reckless endangerment with death resulting or just plain involuntary manslaughter. This was a crime, it may not have been done with that intent but it was done. Any time you have video like this, it is a clear indication, this man lost his power to judge and handle a situation, that his job says he should have at all times and let a primal instinct take charge. This officer forgot that this was another human being and executed a choke hold which deprived this man his right to exist. That constitutes a civil rights violation...on purpose or not. in the commission of his job, he failed to do his job.
