The story of Esther Arunga brings to mind the young Asian girl and a young chap somewhere in Western Kenya. When recently #Collinswanderi spoke in support of the girl's father who is opposed to the relationship, some people came hard on him. All they could see was the race factor. Arunga was "so madly in love" with Quincy that not only did she disobey and insult her parents, she humiliated them publickly and sued them, demanding 300 million shillings. While her parents could clearly see thru the guy's lies and deceit and the doom that lay ahead of her, she saw them as dumb old folks who had lost touch with modern times. Likewise, the infatuation or spell or whatever it is the Asian girl is going thru will wear off soon or later, and she'll come face to face with the bitter realities of life.
