The story of the Gazebo: I went to Le Friquet Garden Centre last weekend and bought a rather expensive pop up Gazebo. I made it clear that the sale hinged on whether or not I would be able to also buy weights to weigh down the feet so I can use is as a street Gazebo. Im afraid we have run out of the weights Sir, but Aladins Cave and Stan Brouard sell them. Excellent news. So, today I went to Aladdins Cave. The assistant very kindly informed me that they have never stocked such an item. I then went to Stan Brouards - they looked at me like I was wearing a little pink tutu. I was not. I then went to B&Q as a last resort. Once again, no luck. And so, that leads me to my next question - does anyone out there on Guernsey have any foot-weights for Gazebos? Its a 3m x 3m Gazebo. In fact, if anyone out there has any sand bags they would be happy to lend me, I could maybe find a way of utilising them - any help would be greatly appreciated. D
