The story of the intake computers, read whole thread! Since G-AXDN was flown into Duxford and the aircraft was displayed a very important part of this aircraft was displayed as seen in this picture. These are the intake Computer racks As many of you know G-AXDN was used to test the intake system for Concorde, earlier test aircraft had analogue intake systems but G-AXDN was the first to have the new Digital intake computers installed. When the aircraft was flown into Duxford she was stripped of all unnecessary weight so she could land on the short runway this included the intake Computers. The intake racks seen in this picture were boarded over and she has sat for 38 years like this.
