The story that really stuck out for me about this day 13 years ago was the story a fireman told which was there was one man who came running out the building as it started to collapse, the fireman tried to take the man I safety but he refused! He told the fireman that he heard someone screaming so he had to save them, he ran back into the building despite the firemans greatest attempts to stop him! The man never came back out the building, he risked his own life for someone he didnt even know even although there was far more chance of the 2 of them not making it, he didnt give up and he gave his life to try and save another when he was guaranteed to live! Iv never forgotten that story and I can honestly say I dont know if I wouldve done the same! So R.I.P to all that lost their lifes and to the unspoken heroes of that day!
