The stray cat and her 3 kittens are still in the woods out back and eating well every day. The other night I came home to find them playing in the back yard with mom close by watching over them. She is beginning to come closer and doesnt run far when I go to feed them. My Sister Gina and I put out heads together today and came up with the idea of using a tote with a cut out in the front for shelter. Steve cut the front out for me and they now have a tote wrapped in a rug with a nice warm blanket inside. It is suppose to be really cold the next couple days here so I was very happy to see the kittens going in and out of it and mom sitting on top of it. I hope they cuddle inside and stay warm. That will help me to sleep better too! She is such a good mom and the babies follow her cue. Animals are just so amazing.
