The streets and parks of Nannup have been transformed into a feast - TopicsExpress

The streets and parks of Nannup have been transformed into a feast for the eyes for their annual four day Flower & Garden Festival. The festival will be packed with displays, floral art, crafts and practical tips on home gardening. Nestled in the beautiful green hills beside the wonderful Blackwood River, Nannup’s unique charm and relaxed rural lifestyle is the perfect wintery weekend getaway. Mass plantings of flower beds featuring tulips, hyacinths and daffodils will excite your visual senses as you stroll around the town. Ramble through a country garden, munch on a Devonshire tea. Artistic floral displays are a highlight always full of fun and creativity. The Town Hall Floral Display is not to be missed – entry is $3 per person and a discount is available for groups of 10 or more. The Weekend village market offers local craft and garden goodies for sale and the Garden Marquee features a program of choir singing from choirs and singing clubs both near and far. The Quilt and Craft Exhibition is always stunning and the Historical Display is fascinating. Garden talks and workshops are also on the menu. Activities are low cost or free and are held in sheltered marquees or community buildings. For more information, visit the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival - third week of August Facebook page.
