The struggle about who chairs the Nigeria Governors’ Forum is - TopicsExpress

The struggle about who chairs the Nigeria Governors’ Forum is nothing but a ploy to deceive the electorate. Most of them know that come 2015, they will be stale in their current parties or offices and since it is their wish to be relevant all the time in politics, they cause confusion in their parties (calling a dog different names just to hang it) to buttress their reasons for change. They are old cheats in new political garments who want to further insult the common man’s intellect. After 2015 elections, they will come together to form one common front to oppress the same poor who voted them into power. As these events unfold, we need to watch these political gamblers and make sure they are out of job. Enough of this political hypocrisy! President Goodluck Jonathan should leave the governors alone; they’re not governors by appointment but, elected as the President was elected by Nigerians. To Governor Jonah Jang, he should be told to face squarely the recurring internal crisis in his state that has laid the state bare. Why is he making an issue out of nothing? Among the 19 governors of the Peoples Democratic Party that agreed to the consensus which he is claiming, has he asked himself this question: Who’re the three governors from his camp that voted for Governor Chibuike Amaechi? Another question he needs to ask himself is why did he and other PDP governors agree to participate in the election ab initio? Then the election had nullified the consensus. He should let go and allow peace to reign.
