The struggles that exist for those of us that have been challenged - TopicsExpress

The struggles that exist for those of us that have been challenged with the horrendous diagnosis of breast cancer or any kind of cancer is enormous. I have tried to share my personal experiences and pass along information that I know is valid, in the hopes that I may bring a light of hope to someone else who is met with the same fate and to help them make an informed decision about their lives and not just follow the golden standard of care.. out of nothing but PURE FEAR and lack of information when the conventional doctors immediately try to whisk you away into their protocol without giving you a chance to breath or think about how you chose to save your own life. I am obviously very passionate about what I have experienced with my own breast cancer diagnosis back in February.. and my purpose is to share that passion with others by shining an awareness light around the lack of support for people like me, and certainly not to condemn those who do chose conventional treatment. I often feel very confident and hopefully that I will be blessed with the food and the supplies I need, the doctors to care for me, and the friends and family to support me on this journey, but make no mistake, it is not easy by any means..there have been many tearful moments where I feel all alone and defeated, as I have worked diligently to find ways to dissolve my tumor and eradicate the existing cancer stem cells over the past 8 months ..because the truth is, there is absolutely NO financial support for alternative treatments and they are all very expensive treatments, as is the task of keeping a strong immune system, just like all 3 conventional methods for those who do not have insurance. For me, there is no running for the cure because for those of us who choose life by accepting the overwhelmingly challenges of alternative protocols that require endless hours of full time devotion, living in fear of lack of treatment availability due to lack of money, there is no ribbon that represents our fight and as far as I know, no one is running for people like me. That’s right, Susan G. Komen and the PINK ribbon that so many have been convinced is helping all women with breast cancer to help find them a cure, does not take ANY of those donations and use them to help fund women with the exorbitant cost of healing our bodies naturally or even integratively!!! And in fact… I do see the whole PINK thing as a farce, even for conventional treatment, because in all of the years I can remember, there is no treatment other than chemo, radiation and surgery! And guess what? .. we already use these treatments…so what are we running for?? Or a better question is, what are we running from!! The documented statistical facts in the medical journals show that fewer than 3% of these treatments actually work in the long term. That is a crime in my opinion with the billions being poured into ‘the cure’!!! I truly hope to bring awareness to the lack of support available for those of us who chose life by taking on a corrupt system that imprisons doctors for treating patients with any method besides chemo, radiation, and surgery!! I hope this helps explain why I chose Periwinkle and a touch of Pink as my ribbon for the cause.
