The studio recording of my five concertos for percussion ensemble and soloist, TERMINALS, is complete. With So Percussion, John Medeski (Official), Zeena Parkins, Greg Osby, and Nels Cline. Release in the Fall, on....? Well see. This must be my moment for finishing large works that have been occupying me for some time. When it rains it pours (apropos for New York City today...hell, for the entire spring so far). TERMINALS is a mammoth project and I had lots of help along the way, including Pledgemusic, New Music USA, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
