The subtle, unvoiced expectations we each have when we marry and have children needs to be addressed. Don and I talk a lot and yet there was a huge gap in our expectations when it came to family life. I failed miserably in in demanding he take more of a roll in the after school life of both my kids. It wasnt his fault that I am an enabler; so Im not blaming him, Im blaming me for not asking, loud, long and clear for help. For those who are younger then millennials (under 25) when you start down the path of domestic life you better really, really, talk it out first.
