The sudden spurt in the growing BJP attacks on the Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal at Varanasi is a clear reflection of the frustration in the Narendra Modi camp. In less than 12 hours, BJP workers under guidance from their state and national leadership, have twice attempted to disrupt Kejriwal’s campaign in Varanasi. In full public view, the AAP leaders have been pushed, abused and shown obscene gestures by BJP workers. After Thursday night’s condemnable incident, the BJP workers on Friday morning once again tried to disrupt Kejriwal’s padyatra in the city by raising slogans, using unparliamentary language and showing obscene gestures in presence of the residents. The BJP is now showing its true colours and attempts by its workers to prevent Kejriwal from campaigning reflects the true ideology of the saffron party, which is based on intolerance and fascism. It is shocking that the BJP, which was claiming a Modi wave in Varanasi, stands exposed, since the people are witnessing cheap politics being practiced by BJP which is all about abuses, obscenity, stones, sticks and eggs. The BJP’s emphasis on trying to scare its political rival by using violent and cheap tactics is putting the basic principle of parliamentary democracy under threat. Instead of debating issues concerning the people, the BJP appears to have decided to take the route of imposing its undemocratic views on the people. The party which was claiming a wave is now resorting to muscle power to brow beat its rivals, but the BJP has forgotten that the AAP cannot be cowed down by its strong arm tactics and the AAP will oppose all the BJP maneuvers’ strongly with the support of the people. Despite the BJP attempts, the AAP is determined to take its issues to the people and will continue to expose the BJP’s intolerant politics. वाराणसी में आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल पर भाजपा द्वारा हो रहे हमलों में अचानक बढ़ोतरी होना इस बात की पुष्टि करता है मोदी कैंप में हताशा का माहौल है। पिछले 12 घंटे के अंदर बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं ने अपने राज्य और राष्ट्रीय नेतृत्व के मार्गदर्शन में वाराणसी में अरविंद केजरीवाल के चुनाव प्रचार में दो बार बाधा डालने की कोशिश की। बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं ने आम आदमी पार्टी के नेताओं को सरेआम धक्का देने, गाली गलौच करने और अश्लील हरकत करने की कोशिश की। वृहस्पतिवार रात को घटित निंदनीय घटना के बाद शुक्रवार को फिर से बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं ने बनारसवासियों की मौजूदगी में नारे लगाकर, असंसदीय भाषा का प्रयोग कर और अश्लील हरकतों द्वारा अरविंद केजरीवाल के पदयात्रा में बाधा डालने की कोशिश की। अरविंद केजरीवाल के चुनाव प्रचार को रोकने के लिए बीजेपी कार्यकर्ता जो हथकंडा अपना रहे हैं यही द्वारा भाजपा की असिलयत है। यही इस पार्टी की असली विचारधारा है जो असहिष्णुता और फासीवाद पर आधारित है यह बहुत ही चौकाने वाली बात है कि जो भाजपा वाराणसी में मोदी की लहर का दावा कर रही है उसके द्वारा सरेआम गालियाँ , अश्लील हरकतें , पत्थरबाजी , लाठी चलाने और अंडे फेंकने जैसी सस्ती राजनीति की जा रही है। अपने राजनैतिक प्रतिद्वंदी को डराने के लिए भाजपा संसदीय लोकतंत्र के बुनियादी बातों को भी खतरे में डालकर सस्ते और हिसंक तरीके अपना रही है। मालूम पड़ता है कि आम जनता से जुड़े मुद्दों पर बहस करने की बजाए गैरलोकतांत्रिक तरीकों द्वारा अपनी विचारधारा यहां की आम जनता पर थोपने का फैसला कर लिया है। भारतीय जनता पार्टी जो वाराणसी में मोदी की लहर का दावा कर रही है वह अब अपने प्रतिद्वदियों को हराने के लिए बाहुबल का सहारा ले रही है। लेकिन भाजपा भूल गई है आम आदमी पार्टी भी उसकी इन हरकतों से डरने वाली नहीं है। आम आदमी पार्टी जनता के साथ मिलकर भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सभी दांव-पेच का पुरजोर मुकाबला करेगी। और आम आदमी पार्टी भाजपा के असहिष्णु राजनीति का पर्दाफाश करने के लिए अपनी मुहिम जारी रखेगी।
