The suffering that Jesus went through on the cross is the equalizer of all humanity. It is the thing that God will use to bring you to your knees and at the same time to lift you off of the ground. It will break and heal you at the same time. It will trip you and make you stumble and it will put a firm foundation under your feet. The cross covers you in the blood of Christ and washes you as white as snow. The cross was the most expensive payment of all time but it is offered for free to you. The only one that should not have been on it according to justice chose to be on it according to love. All who suffer can relate to it and all suffer so all can relate to it. It is the single worst example of human injustice but has justified all who have faith in Christ. It is the moment that Christ was at his weekest but it has become the most powerful event in all human history. It is the single best example of revolutionary thought and martyrdom of all time and it was the single best example of submission to God of time. It always out lives those that try to put it to death. You cannot come into the knowledge of the cross for what it is and refuse to make a decision about your entire life either way. Colossians 2:13-14 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.
