The summer he turned 16, Tandy Reeder worked at Will Rogers - TopicsExpress

The summer he turned 16, Tandy Reeder worked at Will Rogers Memorial Museum and saved money for his first car, the next summer he spent mowing at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch. He has always been generous with his time, although he often works three jobs so he can do the law enforcement job he loves. The tables were turned on his family Sunday when his colleagues at the Rogers County Sheriff’s office and their families 10-23’d (officer needs help) his home to clear trees that were felled or damaged during the spring storms. A total surprise, he didn’t know what was going on until Sheriff Scott Walton and about two dozen or so men, women and children piled out of their cars with chain saws and heavy equipment to cut up and haul off the massive logs. He has always told me what a great group of guys he works with and I saw it in action Sunday afternoon. It was shared with many, as all four Tulsa television news crews were there to document the generosity.
