The sun is gonna shine... ~ Wynton Marsalis, born October 18, 1961, became the first jazz musician ever to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music for his epic oratorio, Blood On The Fields, a 3 1/2 hour jazz composition chronicling the history of slavery via the story of a couple who experience the pain, the suffering of all it entails, but also capture the dreams and the hope that this land can be healed and that “Freedom’s in the trying, you just walk on through the door.”
