The sun is shining and its a nice fall morning. Ive been snuggled by puppies and enjoyed a cup of tea. While Ive had my fair share of bullsh*t lately, Im pretty grateful for the life I live and the people in it. For months Ive had to limit what I watch on tv because the political ads are mean, hateful and misleading. It frustrates me to no end. Yesterday was the election and my sigh of relief that it is OVER... for now anyway, until the next election. Then I opened fb this morning to see people I care about embracing the same mean, hateful and misleading remarks about not only candidates that won or lost, but also attacking people for voting differently than the way they voted. Well this is the nature of democracy. Some will win, some will loose and we have to make the best of the situation we are given. For those of us who are not politicians and actually make being mean, hateful and misleading statements about others our living, can we just suck it up and move on? Really... I dont appreciate my friends calling other friends mean, hateful and misleading names. I really dont think that is who we are. Im going to go play with fabric and make more tea.
