I could write tons of articles on this simple idea. Karen said it last night in London. Bottom line take away: The sun is always shining and never receiving. Thus, it only sees the light of the moon as it shines upon it. When we are in receiving mode, ego mode, taking mode, we see the dark side of people. If we truly approached our enemies with unconditional kindness and love wanting nothing in return, we would only see their Light and Positive side. In other words, we will BRING OUT only their Light and Positive side. Our negative consciousness is what creates our enemies out there. Period. This is why the Torah says the ONLY thing we need to achieve in this world to make it paradise is Love Thy Neighbor. If we only shine Light, we will never see the dark side in people or events.
