The sun was so bright this morning on my way to work. As I - TopicsExpress

The sun was so bright this morning on my way to work. As I continued to drive, the sun suddenly appeared behind me and I could see a calm yet subtle sky. I looked around and noticed that many of the leaves had fallen off of the trees and it was really cold. I immediately thought about the seasons of life. You see, we all go through life experiences. Sometime we are in a season where everything is bright and happy/joyful and things may be going great (or what we perceive to be great), but that season may only last for a little while. When that season is over we feel and experience changes. We look around and notice that the sun is no longer shining and the folks that were surrounding us are all gone (leaves). Our spirit begins to shift and we may even feel lonely for a while, but when that season of loneliness is over we will notice that we have moved into a new place full of peace and serenity (calm sky). It may be such that when we are in that place of peace we can think more clearly and we can hear God speak. That season (in my opinion) is the best season of all. It is a time of meditation and growth. We mature in that season and we see things differently...real happiness and joy follows. Dont ever feel that because the sun is not shining and people arent surrounding you that you are in a bad place. Sometimes we have to let go of what appears to be (or what is perceived as) good. There is a reason that we go through spiritual seasons/seasons of life. No matter what season you are in, make the best of that season for each day has something new to offer. Ecclesiastes 3 says, There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens... Sow when it is time to sow. Tarry when it is time to tarry. Reap when it is time to reap. Rest when it is time to rest. Happy Thursday FB!
