The surf report is out for today. Best ocean conditions are down on the south side at Poipu. Kealia on the east side looks like it would be fun for boogie boarding too. Did you know that if you come in and get your gear today for one day you can keep it until Friday as Kauai Bound will be closed tomorrow? That goes for snorkel gear, golf clubs, underwater cameras, anything that I rent. Come on down and take advantage of the free day! Here is the surf report: Continued winter weather on North shore. Choppy onshore surf on North shores with some surf wrapping East & West. Potential for strong currents & powerful surf at exposed locations. Murky water and flooding due to rainy conditions. Much calmer on South facing shores. Always use caution - esp. when unfamiliar & help is a long way away. Recommended lifeguarded beaches: Kealia, Lydgate, Poipu, Salt Pond.
