The swells were huge. A storm such as this had not been experienced in years, thought the Captain as he gingerly sipped the bitter coffee that tasted at least four days old. As a matter of fact, most of his crew had never seen such a monster. He turned to his chief mate, Ya know, some of these folks will want to jump ship if this keeps up. Chief mate didnt say a word as he left the bridge knowing he had to reassure the crew. Stay the course, he would tell them. Stay on course and we will come thru this just as those who have gone before us. We owe them that.
