The tactical mistake made by SoGa and son private limited was trying to train RaGa for the job. She should had planted him on the seat in 2004 itself. In India either people get trained on the job or not at all. Primarily the logic is कुर्सी सब सिखा देगी। I can safely say that not more than 5 to 10% of the training that we received during the five years of BE (Hons.) course, that we pursued in Pilani, did serve us in our professional life. Most of the corporates ask their management trainees to unlearn what they had learned in the classrooms. They train them on the templates of their own set of rules and ethics. Similarly RaGa’s father with the bare minimum training of Asian Games in 1982 was launched as the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy i.e. India. The halo around the SEAT enabled him to acquire the Mr Clean image and he never seemed half as big a fool as the current Scion or incumbent. RaGa’s Grand Mother who was voted in a survey as the best Prime Minister India ever had, never completed her Graduation training even, leave aside training in Governance. She was elected or nominated not for her administrative skills nor for her statesmanship. She was designated to be soft putty or puppet in the hands of “seniors”. She did earn the nickname of “dumb doll” during her apprenticeship/training period. Whatever she learned was on a “Earn while you learn” module. Did she exercise administrative skills or vengance to maintain her seat of power for about 16 years, is anyone’s guess. Barring for the 1971 war that came her way and gave her certain legitimacy , she was a disaster. She was CROWNED as Durga in 1971 by the opposition leaders. All the sheen wore off in next three years, and she needed the straight jacket of Emergency to run this nation of CRAWLIES. Had the Mother Maino chose to bell the cat in 2004 itself, maybe RaGa would had earned a few medals or a Bharat Ratna by now. MMS was retained as an IVRS actuated Robotic PM. We all are well aware that a machine is not expected to have any intelligence or IQ. RaGa can be certainly credited with an IQ better than that of a machine i.e ZERO. Now after TEN grueling years of Kalavati and MANREGA,he is worse than where he was in 2004.
