The tail wagging the dog story. Dog finds feather duster and decides its rather fun to run about the house whilst gayly and far too efficiently, plucking the feathers off the stem and distributing the lovely colored little blighters about the house. Mother dear finds Poppy with a fore mentioned offending article in her mouth with a look on her face that simply said Whaaat? Mother encourages Poppy to release the duster and reprimands her with a Love Tap the would equate to a kiss on the bum. Mother dears reprimand speech of...Dont do it again...Naughty girl was about as effective as dousing a raging fire....with petrol. Mother places the duster....wait for it...back where Poppy found it. This morning I walk into the kitchen and what did I find. Yip, you guessed it. A scene of feather carnage....amongst which was a pair of eyes and ears that were familiar. Yes folks, when the bomb blast of feathers was cleared away there she was. Poppy lying there looking at me as if to say...Stoopid Mother....Fancy putting that there Not so dum after all, is our Poppy. {;o)
