The tall gentleman is none other then Bill Jordan. Bill was a longtime old school lawman who had served many years with the US Border Patrol. He was a physically imposing man described as being quick as a "rattle snake" and tall as "Texas Timber" He authored a book titled "No Second Place Winner" that was based on what he learned after many shootouts along the US/Mexican border. There are no 2nd place winners in gunfights and no do overs. Bill was one of the lawman that greatly influenced me into becoming a lawman myself.
