The talmud describes the joy of simchat beis hasovah as one of such intensity that one who has lived without it has never seen joy all their days. One unique feature of this event was the construction of the mechitzah, originally the woman were in the front with a direct view of the stage and the men would push in too much, then they tried having the men in the front and still the crowds refused to stay separate, finally they built a second story and the men were too lazy to climb the stairs. on this holiday i wish everyone blessings to feel the sense of joy that only is seen when all jews come together in mutual and national celebration. may we all find someone to share our joy with! and as a reminder of the evolution to the ezrat nashim: youtube/watch?v=oQBJnFm8wQs
