The tax payer purchased and funded Wagner Farm telling the non-profit Wagner Farm Rescue Fund to just go to the slaughter auction sale and buy their 4H animals if we really want them is being equated by an increasing amount of the public as akin to municipalities who move voter polling sites miles away and then tell the public they can just buy a car to get there, get a ride, or take public transportation and/or walk to the polling site, etc., if they really want to vote. The detailed logistics involved in needing to make responsibly done advance placement and transport arrangement of animals essentially makes buying directly from the auction to be prohibitive, particularly for larger animals. This has been explained in detail to Wagner Farm repeatedly. As their continuing dismissive response is to just go to the slaughter auction - or that the animals can be taken to a meat market as a placement site as weve also been crassly told - this is also being equated by an increasing amount of the public as their calling for hoop jumping in a seeming intent to impede animal rescue and humane placement as this obviously does not support Wagner Farm goals.
