The team of volunteers from the Barbados Horticultural Society at the Chelsea Flower Show 2014 have working been flat out ever since they arrived on Thursday morning, putting in 11-hour days every time. This show is no picnic - it IS HARD WORK! It is difficult to portray just how big a challenge this show provides, especially with this years Barbados theme of Sailors Valentines, but these photos will at least give a basic idea about how big a transition takes place from an empty display stand to the amazing finished product. Today (Sunday) is the last day of preparation / finishing off the display, adding final small touches - no photos yet. The judging takes place tomorrow, with results announced Tuesday morning. Watch this space. Come on Team Barbados.
