INSTEAD OF COMMERCIALIZING THE SANTO TOMAS FOREST RESERVE, I AM CALLING ON EVERYONE TO HELP IN THE REFORESTATION OF THE MOUNTAIN!! The said area is currently the subject of numerous cases filed by the DENR, Baguio Water District and other concerned citizens, likewise the subject of a TEPO issued by the Supreme Court stemming from the filing of a Writ of Kalikasan by the Bishops of Baguio City and Pangasinan in relation to the destruction of the said forest by Baguio City Congressman Nicasio Aliping --- the TEPO bans/stops/halts any commercial activity in the said FOREST RESERVE. Instead of promoting tourism and commercialization of the area please encourage people to help in the reforestation of the area as what a FEW concerned citizens have been doing the past few months.
