The tense situation here in Hyderabad : The bustling metro suddenly quiet in form... as if a lull before the approaching storm.... some happy faces...some sad... and some bewildered ones too worried a tad.... children playing on the roads without a thought... even as the sun scorches them and shines so bright... citizens...a bit unsure...but forced to come out... even if a bit apprehensive and in doubt... of mob attacks in the name of politics.... by the crowd of goons...all wielding sticks.. who would not hesitate to drag them out... smash their cars for daring to move about... flouting the dictat of the ruling front.... even when someone lay dying and half burnt...! But the violence for once was missing and rare... except some artery roads where people stand and stare... I think of the visitors and pity.... who came unaware... on urgent work or a leisurely visit to the city... and got stranded by the illogical and arbitrary ploy... of a Bandh which was a holiday…but took away all its joy !
