Napoleon said of that wonderful book ... it is no mere book, but, yes, LIVING CREATURE, conquering all that you are face to face. Newsweek (27.Dez.82), on its cover, wrote about that wonderful book How a book unites us, divides us and even DEFINE THE SAME!. THAT BOOK IS THE BIBLE stunningly WONDERFUL! And if you think the Bible is like any other book ever written - keep reading. When you finish this text ... YOU RECOGNIZE THAT THAT BOOK IS WONDERFUL stunningly! But the Bible was written thousands of years ago. And were in the 21st century! We have seen the man go to the moon. We have seen mankind take great strides in the conquest of the hidden mysteries of the universe. The Bible was written thousands of years ago by men with a much more limited than our knowledge. With their limited knowledge, how could they have known the right things? AM GAY YOU ASKED ... Luke 17: 30-34 So is NO DAY when the Son of man is revealed ... THAT DAY ... I tell you, THAT NIGHT ... Nobody in Lukes day thought that there could be day and night at the same time! 3 They thought that the earth was flat! Luke was written around the year 65 AD As Luke knew something that scientists did not know until the 16th century? Isaiah 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE OF THE EARTH. How, in the year 700 BC, Isaiah knew that the earth was round? The scientists of Isaiahs day thought the earth was flat. Not discovered that the earth was round until the early 1500s when Magellan sailed around the world. How did Isaiah know something over 2000 years before science? Job 26: 7 ... and suspends the earth over nothing. During the time of Job, it was believed a god named Atlas held the earth on his shoulders! Nobody believed the earth hung suspended over NOTHING! Job is the oldest book in the Bible! Was written over 3500 years ago! How did Job know something that was IMPOSSIBLE to know during your days? Genesis 2: 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Surely, you do not take Genesis seriously. Toma? The sun evaporates water from the ocean, the water vapor rises and becomes clouds, the water in the clouds falls back to earth as rain, gathers in rivers, and they run back to the ocean. This was not known until discovered by Galileo in 1630! How does the writer of Ecclesiastes know this in 1000 BC, 2500 YEARS BEFORE THE SCIENCE ?! 4 Leviticus 15:13 When therefore that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue, shall contarse seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in WATER CURRENTS; and be clean. God said to wash the infected flesh in RUNNING WATER. The science has not discovered it until there are two men named Pasteur and Koch in the final years of the 1800s All doctors in a hospital washed their hands in a basin of water, day after day, and disseminated germs with the speed, ease and carnage with which fire spreads in a dry grasses. It was not until the invention of the microscope and the emergence of the science of bacteriology that doctors started washing under RUNNING WATER. How did Job know something in the year 1500 BC that science has not discovered until Einstein? How can the men who wrote that wonderful book, with limited knowledge of their time ... SO BE AHEAD OF SCIENCE? Ecclesiastes 1: 6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; the wind whirls about continually, and comes back to his circuits. How does the writer of Ecclesiastes knew that the wind travels forming circuits? How does the writer know something that aerologistas and meteorologists have discovered so recently? THINK ABOUT IT! How can these men, with limited knowledge of their time, thousands of years ago, being so far advanced with respect to science? Proverbs 6: 6-8 Go to the ant ... in harvest gathers her sustenance ... Lifes Nature Library, in Insects (. P 163) commenting on Proverbs 6 says One of the enigmas of the last century entomological with regard to this observation by Solomon. There was no evidence that ants really did grain harvests. In 1871, however, a British naturalist showed that Solomon, after all, had been right ... As Solomon knew that in 1000 BC? Like Solomon, clearly detailed scientific FACT that it was IMPOSSIBLE that he knew in 1000 BC? Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine ... How does the writer of Proverbs knew that - 3000 YEARS BEFORE THE MEDICAL SCIENCE? Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood ... This is the most accurate scientific statement ever made about the blood! 5 is the blood that gives continuity to all life processes in the body. It is the blood that causes growth, builds new cells, grows bone and flesh, stores fat, makes hair and nails. It is the blood that nourishes and sustains all organs of the body. If the blood supply is cut off an arm, it will immediately begin to die and rot. It is the blood that repairs the body. That heals the wounds that new flesh, new skin and even grows new nerves. It is the blood that fight against disease. When a vaccine against a disease is given, it applies an injection into your bloodstream. For thousands of years, doctors treated people with a practice called sangria. Thought that diseases could be cured by extracting blood. In 1799, less than 200 years ago, George Washington was literally bled to death. Doctors bled poor George four times, the last time they took over a liter of his blood! They did not know, but they were literally taking the life of George when they were drawing their blood. Not until the early 1900s a man named Dr. Lister discovered that the blood provides the bodys immune system - LIFE OF THE FLESH IS IN THE BLOOD! The Birmingham Post Herald, February 26, 1988, told the story of Mike Thomas. He was working on a building construction, when dropped from a height of 21 m. As he fell, a steel cable is wrapped around your arm and cut it out by hand, a few inches above the wrist. A coworker uploaded to the hospitals hand had been severed from the body. Because of serious internal injuries to Thomas, the doctors could not reattach his hand at the time. Instead, turned his hand to blood vessels of the abdomen wall so that they could keep it alive. Two months later, doctors removed his hand from the abdomen and repositioned back on the arm of Thomas. According to the report, UAB is the first medical facility in the nation to accomplish such a feat! Exactly what the Bible said in 1490 BC! Continue feeding the hand with blood and she will live on - LIFE OF THE FLESH IS IN THE BLOOD! Do not you find it strange? What Moses wrote in the year 1490 BC, only now been discovered by the most brilliant minds that man can produce! How can that wonderful book, written thousands of years ago by men and with very limited scientific knowledge, being so far ahead of the best that humanity can produce in 6000 years? 6 To understand how amazing that book is, compare what scientists taught when it was written. They believed that the rays were projectiles thrown by the gods. The Vedas (Hindu holy book) taught that to achieve rain, enough to tie himself to a tree an sapo open mouth and repeating some magic words - and presto - rain! The Egyptians believed that stars were the souls of the dead who had now been transformed into gods. The Greeks believed that a god named Atlas held the earth on his shoulders. Some taught that the earth rested on the back of several large (very large!) Elephants. And the elephants were leaning over the back of a large turtle (very, very big!) And the turtle? Was supported on a large snake (very, very, very big!) And the snake? Well, youve got the idea. But that wonderful book contains nothing so foolish! Despite what was taught and believed [by scientists] during the days of the writers! That marvelous book says: And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians ... (Acts 7:22), but the mythology and superstitions of Egypt are by no means in any of the books written by Moses! In fact, after 6000 years of discoveries and advances - that wonderful book can stand alongside the more advanced books available in medicine, science and story! One issue that separates this wonderful book by any other book is prophecy. No other book provides the future as this does. His prophecies are absolutely accurate. Often they were given hundreds and even thousands of years before the events. And without exception ... They were met - even the smallest detail! A prophecy in Ezekiel 26: 1-6 says ... came to me the word of the LORD, saying ... Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will come up against you many nations ... they shall destroy the walls of Tyre and break towers; I will also scrape her dust, and make her like a rock. 5 In the midst of the sea shall be a spreading of nets; because I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD ... Three years later, Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon besieged Tyre. But before he arrived, the people of Tyre escaped to an island, far from the beach about half a mile. After thirteen years of siege, the Babylonians destroy the walls of Tyre and brought down the towers, destroying the city that stood on the continent. By that time, people who had escaped had rebuilt the city of Tyre on the island. And because Nebuchadnezzar had no navy, a town on the island remained untouched. Although Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed the city, he did not completely fulfilled the prophecy of Ezekiel. But 250 years later, the soldiers of Alexander the Great, took the dunghill (the destruction by Nebuchadnezzar had left), swept their dust (wood, rock and stubble of the ancient city of Tyre, destroyed) and built a road made of landfill high as the top of a rock. They marched on the roadway embankment of rubble to get to the island, and destroyed it. Today, if you travel to the site of ancient Tyre -Vera fishermen spreading their nets to dry them on the site where the grand Tyre had existed! Just as Ezekiel had prophesied 7 around the year 586 BC! More than 2500 years before it happened! There are over 300 prophecies fulfilled in Jesus Christ. That marvelous book has many prophecies that were written thousands of years before Jesus was born! Accurate and detailed prophecies such as where He would be born (Micah 5: 2), as He would be born (Isaiah 7:14), and He would die (Psalm 34:20), etc. And history has proven, without a shadow of a doubt that they were fulfilled EXACTLY like that wonderful book had prophesied hundreds of years before! In the book Science Speaks scientist and mathematician Peter Stoner applies the rules of probability to these prophecies. The probability of only three hundred eight of these prophecies being fulfilled by chance is one in 10 17 - that is 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000! In the book, Professor Stoner illustrates: Lets visualize this probability ... Suppose we take 1017 silver dollar coins and deposited on the surface of Texas. They cover the entire state two feet tall with [Texas, the largest state of the United States has 684 000 km2 (larger than the southern Brazil: the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul totaling 578 000 km2)]. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly ... Blindfold a man and tell him ... you have to take a silver dollar ... What would he likely to get tagged dollar? The same chance that the prophets would have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all they met by chance on any one man. (Science Speaks, pp. 106-107) Following Professor Stoner took over 48 of these 300 fulfilled prophecies. The probability of these 48 prophecies being fulfilled by chance is 1 in 10 157- ie 1 followed by 10 157 zeros! Here is how it illustrates: Lets try to visualize this ... The electron is practically the lowest of all the objects we know. Is so small as 2.5 × 10 15 as lined side by side to form a row with one inch (2.5 centimeters) in length would be required. If we were to count the electrons in this queue that has an inch long, and we told the rate of 250 electrons every minute, and we told day and night without stopping, we would need 9 million years to count only one an inch electron ... with this introduction, lets get back to our probability of 1 in 10 157 ... Lets make a solid ball of electrons, extending in all directions from the earth to a distance of six billion light years (the distance light travels this, at the speed of 300,000 miles per second, 6,000,000,000 years). We have eaten all our 10 157 electrons? No, we have made a small hole in the dough so that we can not see it. Now, one of these electrons was marked and the whole thoroughly mixed within the mass; blindfold man and ask him to find the tagged electron. (The electron actually is 8 so small that it can not be seen even with the most powerful microscope). So, to the same extent that we know this blindfolded man can not find and catch the tagged electron, we know that the Bible is inspired. (Science Speaks, pp. 109-111) In case you think that the statistics of Professor Stoner are exaggerated or without scientific substance, the Foreword of the book Science Speaks includes a recognition by the prestigious American Scientific Affiliation, declaring: The mathematical analysis included is based upon principles of probability which are . completely sound, and Professor Stoner has applied these principles in a proper and convincing way Professor Stoner concludes: This is not MERELY EVIDENCE. PROOF is the inspiration of the Bible by God - SO DEFINITIVE PROOF that the universe is not big enough to hide your evidence. These are a few among thousands of possible examples to prove, beyond any shadow of doubt, that a far more extreme than you and I can imagine, supernatural hand was guiding the men who wrote that book so stunningly beautiful. Friend, if physical things we can consider are proven to be true - that such spiritual things that we can not examine? WHAT ABOUT IF THEY ARE ALSO TRUTH? Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire? Are you willing to make Russian roulette with your eternal destiny, keeping the [crazy] prejudice that stunningly wonderful book that is a lie, even after the fact that we have given you? Especially when so much is at stake: WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?! In a lake of fire - in torments, burning forever ?! Jesus Christ said: What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? (Matthew 16:26). ARE YOU WANTING TO RISK YOUR SOUL? My friend, you are betting an unbearably high stop! [Friend, playing Russian roulette such (where the number of bullets in the barrel is 10 followed by 157 zeros against only one empty hole), and being in his ninth game soul, your eternal destiny, such a great value that not the whole universe can pay for it, you will be doing crazy!] Friend, there was a time and place in your life, when you received the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? If no, then do not move from where they are no rogue before the Lord Jesus to save him. The Bible says, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). If the Bible is true and God is real, then why do you reject [or postpone]? Is it too much you have to lose! Say this prayer with all your heart: Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and without their salvationm lost forever. Come to the Lord now, the best way I know, and I beg Him to save me.
