The theory of parallel universes. This is commonly described with an example like this - youre making a choice between a red shirt or a black shirt. You pick the black one, and another universe is created in which you picked the red one. But really think about this. If a universe is created (a new *branch* if you will) at every moment, theres a whole lot more than one created in that shirt-choice. Which arm extends to get the shirt? At which moment do you extend your arm? Countless universes are created. Too many to comprehend. There are literally infinite possibilities. Maybe in one universe youre married to Emma Watson. In another youre an astronaut, or the president, or whatever. Basically, anything that can happen, does. Its the complexity and the infinite possibilities that make this so mind-blowing.
