The thing is about breast cancer it takes so much away from you.... Ive already lost both breasts and have hideous scaring. My hair will be gone soon and then all of the physical parts of me that make me a woman will be gone too. My hair will grow back, I will get reconstructive the inside you will never see but my scars will follow me for life. But what many do not talk about is that you lose even more.... The people in your life that are not strong enough to be by your side walk away and that hurts more than you can even imagine. Excuses as to why are endless but what really is truth is that I dont have them here with me. Im grateful to those that are with me and grateful of the lessons I am learning but I am also allowed to be sad and disappointed.... My intention tonight is stop fighting for the way I think things should be and people should behave and accept all for what it is. Appreciate the beauty that my life is still full of even if cancer butted in. ❤️ I choose to never lose the happiness I still feel everyday!
