The thing with the Republicans is - they are quite alright with government OF the people, including ... if those people are women ... their interior portions. They can come to terms with government BY the people ... provided that definition includes their favorite corpor-*people* and money is counted as speech without limit as to its volume or content regarding little issues like that truth obsession reporters used have in days gone by. But they never, never, EVER will make peace with the notion of government FOR the people. For Republicans the only acceptable objective of government is to make the rich richer, the powerful more powerful and the rest of us too damn scared of losing our jobs and starving in the streets to complain about anything they do to us.
