The things I find in my work - Dutch images of mariners from our period! Those wonderful Dutch people, making sure their works get online. Sieuwert van der Meulen, a northern Netherlands artist that lived from 1663-1730, did a lot of art on maritime topics in the form of engravings. This included series on how ships were built and on the herring fishing industry. The Rijksmuseum online has 73 results for his art.
