I konow their was no google in those days and no project Guttenburg to know the intricate details of you enemy, but seriously, fighting the Ottomans, the ceremonious protectors of Mecca and Madinah, that too for the British , makes Kazi Nazrul Islam a man on the wrong side of history for me. His literary ventures and the inherent ambiguity doesnt help either. I am a realist and not a romanticist, and hence can be very drab. But his Hamd Nath was pure class. He could have been more if his heart was in the right place I fill, not that I know for sure where his heart was. Although I agree, to counter Robindra centric skulduggery, he still is by far the best option.
