The third annual Giant Dive is fast approaching - Sunday 2 November 2014 at Point Peron, Rockingham! The winning cause voted for by Diving Buddies was Sea Shepherd. Last year we were a handful of divers short of that magic number of 100 divers in the water whilst supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service. This year we will exceed that easily! With 673 members what is your excuse? I need a few people to give me a hand and have made a list of tasks below. My email address is: ukdiveslave@hotmail 1) Folks north and south of the river to distribute posters at venues 2) Prize gathering through businesses and individuals north and south - feel free to donate that unwanted Fathers Day gift 3) A prize coordinator to liaise with me regularly to update donations 3) Helpers on the day - sorting out raffle prizes, selling tickets assisting divers, surface support, dive marshalling, sinking the mugs for the treasure hunt, car park patrol, etc 4) Qualified workplace first aid personnel 5) A photographer to capture the event 6) Collecting tin shakers 7) A talented writer to put together a begging letter to send out for prizes Many thanks.
