The third day of Christmas, Citywalksz gave to me the Sumatran Rhino! These elusive, critically endangered animals are the worlds smallest rhinoceroses. They live deep in the sumatran jungle and are very hard to find. However, according to some local guides I know, the best way to catch a glimpse of these rhinos is to build a tree fort in a durian plantation and sit up there during harvest time (October). I guess rhinos like durian. :) This does cause an issue with the farmers and there are often violent clashes when the farmers try and protect their fruit. So if you are there in October, find a friendly farmer before you attempt this. Also, stay in the trees as rhinos can be dangerous! Cooincidentally - this is also one of the easiest ways to find a tiger. As they too come out of the jungle.... but in search of rhino, not a durian.
