The thought that government run business institutions should be under profit is totally wrong. Government is not separate from the people. Its the people who make the government expecting that it will make their lives easier. At no point of time should a government think that its higher than the people and nor should it behave like a private business entity. There is some merit in governments owning a business but it must be a not for profit institution. Its job should only be to help people and not to make profit at the expense of people. KSRTC and few other government institutions must understand this.
