The time has come and Troy has left to be with his grandfather as he passes away. They think it will likely be today or tomorrow. He can no longer talk and sometimes opens his eyes. We visited him on his last day to live in his own home last week before they moved him to a care facility. On the day we visited, he could talk, smile, cry, and hold our hands. He was very much himself and was mentally able to communicate with us and we are so grateful. Things have changed so much in just a week and now we are preparing for what comes next. They showed us each and every card that has been sent to them by the wonderful people of FCC and asked me to say thank you for the kind words and thoughts. Ted insisted that they send thank you cards to each person and I insured him that a simple thank you passed along through me would be plenty. :) Thank you all for your continued prayers for our family- and especially for Troy.
