We would dare not to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of one’s existence. Now if we could fly out of our window and, hover over this great city of Phoenix with its population of 5 million, gently remove the roofs, and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the planning’s, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, that are working through this generation, and leading to the most austere exacting standards of discipline and self-restraint being as tough on myself as I’m of those I’m watching , having the result that, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable in comparison. It hasn’t changed one little bit and the reality is that you just can’t make this stuff up so I’m seeing it, but do I really believe it. That which comes to light on television, the internet, books, and newspapers are, as a rule, bold enough, being forward and vulgar enough, but we now have our friend’s reporting the realism and pushing it to its extreme limits, and yet the result is, it must be confessed, being neither fascinating nor artistic because it is the truth and it must surface. Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. To mortify is to humiliate or shame one as by bringing injury to ones pride or self-respect or to subjugate (the body, passions, etc.) by abstinence, ascetic discipline, or self-inflicted suffering. (Prayer and fasting). A certain selection and discretion must be used in producing such a realistic effect, and this is wanting in life’s daily report today, where of course more stress is laid, perhaps, upon the platitudes of the details, which to an observer contains the vital essence of the whole matter which depends upon nothing, so now its unnatural as the everyday commonplace what is one more murder or beheading or 3,000 martyred. I know in my life there are times when moving forward you must go step by step, but it’s not enough. There are times when you have to change what you do, how you speak and how you think about things because; • Sometimes, you have to change who you are. You need to pick both feet off the ground and leap, take a leap of faith. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. • Sometimes, you need to change at your very core of being and trust God. • Sincerity is not enough. You have to do the right thing by obeying God and our Lord. Why is it this way? Why cant we be judged by our intentions alone? The what in the circle of life is so that we will know that we are small, and truth is very large and it’s God’s truth that sets us free as truth stands at the center, and we who trust and believe in that truth orbit about not that truth orbits around us. The time when we move forward step by step is not enough, God what’s us to leap in the circle of life. “What is the purpose of my life?” “Who am I?” and “How is the world built?” if this is a wonder that demands answers it begins as a start to your realization of lifes mission of making this physical world a dwelling place for God in you, your family, community, and this great nation. Every month of the year is unique with its own events and happenings, and they can occupy a preeminent position with regard to your life; it can be replete with festivals, to name a few, Rosh Hashanah, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc. But I believe no other month can compare for its richness and variety of festivals, (holiness), and their corresponding service to God like Christmas.
