The tithe has nothing to do with the believer. Malachi was bringing judgment against the priest and the nation of Israel; the church was not born until 400 years later. Abraham tithe a voluntary offering to Melchizedek. Tithing was not law until God gave it to Moses. Gentiles did not tithe, the tax collector did not tithe, the fisherman did not tithe. Tithe came from the fruit of the ground and the cattle; every 10th that passeth under the rod belonged to the Lord. I am healed because I am a child of God, by his stripes I am healed.
