The title for my fathers article in doTERRAs leadership magazine isGlobal Opportunity. This December, the Nakata family will be traveling to Japan! This will be my fathers 14th trip to Japan since starting doTERRA. My brothers 3rd trip. Cassy and my 1st trip to Japan. doTERRAs Japan office is in Aoyama in Minato, Tokyo and has been fully operational since 2012. Today we build our Japan business through our Japanese wellness advocates in the United States and in Japan. One of the requirements for my father has in choosing a company is its capability of expanding operations overseas, particularly in Japan. Most new companies lack the experience infrastructure to succeed in Japan. doTERRA has proven to be successful in Japan. Essential Oils are highly received in the Japan market. Aside from business, I am glad we have a career where we can make new friends, reconnect with old, learn different cultures, and have exciting new experiences. I am excited to connect with our relatives there. I am fortunate to have a father that can bridge that connection even after coming to Hawaii in 1978 from Okinawa, Japan.
