The top 20 songs that take me back to my childhood in California… Teri Craig and Kent Keeler #17…Captain and Tennille – Love Will Keep Us Together…Yes, it is a bad song (I warned you that there would be some cheese) but if you were alive in 1975 and not in a trapped in a vacuum, there was no way to avoid hearing it as it was ubiquitous on the airwaves. This song always takes me back to my freshman year living at the Villas as it was played constantly at the pool clubhouse. I would go to the pool almost every day because I knew that Sheila – a neighbor and a senior at Tustin H.S. would likely be there. Sheila wore a two piece white bikini (she wore it well) that left very little to the imagination…Whenever I hear C&T…I always think about Sheila LOL.
