The tournament is a go for August 23rd. Everyone that wishes to participate must be CIPP registered plus approved by USA Rugby. The required Tournament Sanction from USA Rugby for obtaining field use insurance coverage imposes strict CIPP compliance. USA Rugby has already approved the usual teams that enter (verifying each team has 15 or more registered players, a registered certified coach, and the club registration fee has been paid). Ad hoc teams have the added task to submit their entire roster for USA rugby to check each player prior to the tournament. Unassigned individuals still require notifying Mark H Young (me) so I can ask USA Rugby whether the lone person may participate or not. So please pass the word about registratiion and help me help fellow rugger who want to enjoy a rugby day at the beach.
