The trees/plants that produce seeds but no fruits are called - TopicsExpress

The trees/plants that produce seeds but no fruits are called gymnosperms. We have brought all gymnosperms from moutainous high altitude habitats and alpine regions and made them adapted to our gardens in plains. Changed environment of soil, climatic conditions and survival pressure induced numerous adaptable modications in the plants to live with us as our friends. See this gymnosperm tree identified by the name Araucaria angustifolia in the heavenly hills but by the name Araucaria heterophylla in my garden! Downward travel induced so much changes by gene mutations! Love the Mother Nature for its benevolence!
