The trend of using women clothed in hijab to carry out suicide bombings is very unfortunate, this is the height of this evil called terrorism that has become a festering sore on our nation. If someone had told me, five years ago, that suicide bombing will become a common occurrence in Nigeria, Ill tell that person to go and hug a transformer. This is really scary. The side effects of this dastardly actions is that people will become paranoid of women wearing hijab or burqa, clothes worn by Muslim women. They may start becoming victims of religious profiling. And you cant blame people from being fearful of women in hijabs when you dont know which one has explosives hidden within. The challenge of modern day Muslims is some extremist elements amongst them, trying to give non Muslims the impression that Islam is a religion of terror. These clique are but a handful, yet their impact is profound. I think its about time that Muslims all over the world realise that their enemy isnt the Jews or the Americans or the infidels, but the handful of hateful Muslims in their fold who believe that Islam must and can only dominate the world through force and violence. These people are the real enemies of Islam.
